FRIDAY 1ST FEBRUARY - Ape-x 11th Birthday Part 2ARTWORKPANGAEALuke Scott + More TBA Tickets on sale 5PM Sunday.Refunds are available on tickets up to 7 days before the event, all tickets are not able to be resold. Please note Eventbrite include booking fees in their final price. After reaching the grand old age of 10 years last January, we're here once again and we couldn't be happier to be celebrating 11 years of parties under the Ape-X banner. For the first part of 2019 we're returning to our roots, presenting a series of parties in the intimate confines of Cobalt & Cosmic Ballroom and stripping things back. Some headliners, a resident, a big system and a bunch of like minded dancers. Here's to moving things forward once more.As we celebrate turning 11 in the Ballroom we've invited two members of two of the most influential UK trios in dance music. Both integral to the shaping of the musical landscape as we know it Artwork & Pangaea of Magnetic Man & Hessle Audio respectively. Both had massive years in 2018, Artwork continuing to scale up the upper echelons of technical party starters, regularly playing with DJ Harvey and even starting his own festival. Pangaea continued to fly the flag high for UK techno with deep seated roots in bass music, a calling card of Hessle Audio of which he is one part of. After having both Ben & Pearson Sound take the Ballroom into euphoria, we thought it was time he joined us, especially on the back of one 2018's standout tracks 'Bone Sucka' Main room support comes from our longest standing resident Luke Scott, fresh from an impeccable 3 hour warm up for Space Dimension Controller in our last series.

This show will take place inside the planetarium dome, but it something really quite different from the space film shows.  When we tried it out in 2018, with 'Dark Side of the Moon', it sold out quickly and was very well-received. You'll experience the highlights (over 50 minutes) of 'The Wall' in a 5 metre planetarium dome, optimised for projection, with real-time visualisations and animations. Please note, this is not astronomy-themed! It's a sound and light experience like no other.  Also, there is no Gerald Scarfe content, or imagery from the film (for copyright reasons), but I'm sure you'll love what we've got planned.Track Listing (all complete tracks):Another Brick in the Wall, Pt.1The Happiest Days of Our LivesAnother Brick in the Wall, Pt.2MotherGoodbye Blue SkyEmpty SpacesYoung LustAnother Brick in the Wall, Pt.3Hey YouIs There Anybody Out There?Nobody HomeVeraBring the Boys Back HomeComfortably NumbThe Show Must Go OnRun Like HellOutside the Wall(thanks for Joanne Emerson, for her help with the selection process). You will be required to sit on a wooden floor throughout the show, so please make sure this doesn't present any problems for you. You are able to bring a small sofa cushion with you, if need be. Unfortunately, anything bigger will not be permitted because of accessibility and the need to avoid trip hazards. As with most forms of pre-booked entertainment, tickets are non-refundable. This is because we need to pay for quite a few things (e.g. building rental, equipment hire, staff, advertising) upfront, and regardless of whether ticket holders turn up. Disabled access is possible, but please contact us in advance through Eventbrite. Due to the nature of the equipment, we can only accommodate a maxiumum of two wheelchairs per show. This event is not eligible for any special offers or discount codes.

The festival was an exceptional experience of deep healing, awakening, and opening. I feel so light, peaceful, and full of Love. Through the journey we took, I touched some of my wounds, gently but deeply releasing and healing what was ready to be alchemised. Thank you to all the other lovely participants. Please organise the next one soon :-)” Tanja “ The festival gave me the opportunity to go deeper into my body and discover new experiences which I hadn’t been able to tap into before. It was a good mix of different exercises, and I had a really blissful experience with the breathwork.” Vijay ” I feel so grateful I had the opportunity to attend this festival. I felt that Seth, through his presence, allowing, way of being, created a very unique, safe space in which I could release, discover, explore and meet different aspects of myself. I was amazed how during the two days I was – often unexpectedly and gently – led to bring forth and embrace a child, an ancient woman, an animal, a spoiled brat, a mother, a lover, a goddess… Also through Seth’s guidance and suggestions I felt within very short spaces of time both my immense sorrow/yearning/pain and my immense joy/gratitude, realising how close to each other these seemingly opposites are. Today I feel a more solid belonging in the world, and a heightened awareness of the soles of my feet on the floor, like the earth, was more magnetic!” Maria

The Nichols House Museum invites you to participate in a unique musical event, the latest installment in the Nichols after Dark programming series. This rare opportunity offers attendees the chance to not only experience the Museum's beautiful turn-of-the-century parlor at night but also to enjoy an operatic performance set to the dramatic backdrop of Flemish tapestries and Japanese urns. The evening's performance will celebrate Metropolitan Opera singer Louise Homer (1871-1947), who in 1902 performed in the very same room.  Louise Homer was second-cousin to Rose Standish Nichols (1872-1960) and was one of the most gifted and popular opera singers of the early twentieth century. A contralto, Homer achieved international acclaim as a member of the Metropolitan Opera (1900-1919) and her most notable role was Amneris in Giuseppe Verdi's Aida. In March of 1902, the Nichols family hosted a musicale starring Homer in their 55 Mount Vernon Street home, now the Nichols House Museum. Many "proper Bostonians" attended the performance, including Isabella Stewart Gardner, and while the evening's program is unknown, the family thought it a huge success.  We hope you'll join us for this special evening with operatic singer Jacqueline Novikov, who will perform five arias from Homer’s repertoire. Champagne reception to follow the performance.  Tentative Program: Addio, o miei sospiri from Orfeo ed Euridice (Christoph W. Gluck) Che faro, senza Euridice from Orfeo ed Euridice (Christoph W.
